Easy for employees

Whether your employees want to use a smartphone, tablet or desktop, TimeFiler makes requesting leave easy.
Employees simply choose the dates they want off work and our rules engine figures out exactly how it should be paid.

Use any device

We have designed TimeFiler to work on a multitude of devices , small and large, touch screen and keyboard/mouse. Your employees can use pretty much any device that is connected to the internet.

In addition, in Q3 2013 we will release native applications for iPhone/iPod and Android smartphones. Read more about our mobile functionality here.

One screen to manage leave

Whether leave is entered via a mobile app, the main TimeFiler website, or even sourced from another application, your employees can manage all of their leave from a single screen.

The 'My leave requests' screen shows the employee's roster and leave for a calendar year. At a glance, your users can review their roster, plan leave and see the status of existing requests.

Projected leave balance

Projecting the future leave balance enables your employees to confidently request leave, knowing they will have sufficient entitlement. When the user chooses a future date on the screen, TimeFiler can project their leave balance taking into consideration the expected accrual and currently planned leave.

Timefiler:As many leave types as you like

As many leave types as you like

We can add as many leave types as you require. We can also configure TimeFiler so that groups of employees see different leave types - for example, staff on shift-work might be entitled to special leave types that other employees are not entitled to.

Notifications and emails

TimeFiler uses email and iPhone/Android notifications to keep employees and their managers up to date on the status of leave requests.

For example, when an employee submits a request, two notifications are sent. A message is sent to the manager to advise that the employee has requested leave, but a message is also sent to the employee to let them know that the request has been submitted and the manager it was sent to.
